Introducing: Lizard Q technology to innovation in our dilapidation services

LizardQ is a smart and productive solution to high resolution 360°×180° HDR panoramic imaging. It is essentially a robotic camera mount for creating high-resolution panoramic or full spherical HDR images. 

Our dilapidation team is currently completing a large number of Spherical jobs on rail across multiple projects using this technology. 

Through Lizard Q, the team and our clients can enjoy faster, automatic and reliable operation from capture of imagery to stitching and viewing of spherical images (up to 500 megapixel). 

Low cost high value outcomes with Inspective

Inspective™ is our proprietary cloud software solution, developed to leverage our dilapidation surveying methodology and achieve low-cost, high-value outcomes for our clients.

The solution primarily incorporates easy management for community liaison, accurate asset reporting and financial risk mitigation to deliver projects in the most effective manner possible. 

Our success through the utilisation of Inspective has led to McDonald Surveys being nominated for a Property Council Australia Innovation Award.

Integrated Property Visualisation 

Through our relationship with third party vendor Matterport, we are able to offer integrated visualisations through fast and simple 3D site capture resulting in an interactive online experience.

By utilising the 3D site capture, ‘tags’ can be created to identify specific attributes inside and outside built environments in order to offer an enhanced level of visual and factual detail including, but not limited to, areas of potential defect or concern.

Self Survey Approach: Innovation in Dilapidation Services

During the height of the global pandemic in 2020, our dilapidation quickly innovated against the challenges presented within their line of work. This led to the Self Survey Approach which enabled us to provide tuition and support for home occupiers to conduct some of the basic surveying themselves in their home, whilst under supervision at a safe social distance.
