McDonald Surveys is pleased to announce that they have been selected by John Holland as their rail engineering survey supplier of choice on the new FMG Eliwana rail project.
The project, referred to by Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan as “a mammoth $1.7 billion project”, will bring benefit to many small-to-medium businesses across Western Australia. McDonald Surveys is grateful to be involved, particularly in the time of COVID-19, when all local companies need an extra boost to get their businesses back on track.
We believe that it is our client’s awareness of our expertise in rail engineering surveying, coupled with the state-of-the-art technology we deploy through the Trimble GEDO Vorsys system, that has led to our success in winning this work.
Surveying the Eliwana project
McDonald Surveys possesses decades of experience in rail surveying and digital engineering and is the go-to rail surveying company in WA. We currently provide our expertise to the main track owners in WA such as Rio Tinto, Arc Infrastructure, BHP, Royhill and FMG.
McDonald Surveys will provide its surveying services to the Eliwana rail construction project to ensure the overall safety and long-term maintenance of the rail. Our technology distinguishes us from other surveying providers as we were the first engineering company to introduce the GEDO Vorsys and GEDO Office Suite within Australia. With the help of this technology, McDonald Surveys can accurately measure all rail assets with efficiency and speed, providing accurate and comprehensive data.
We are proud to champion such innovative technology in the surveying sector and provide excellent services through a combination of transformative technology, flawless compliance, ongoing maintenance, and expertise across the industry.
